Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Examples of Cookies we use:

Taskory uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
  • To provide customer support
  • To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
  • To monitor the usage of our Service
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues
  • To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information

Third-Party Integrations

We may allow you to connect third-party services to the Service, such as messaging tools (for example, Slack), email providers (for example, Gmail and Outlook), project and productivity tools (for example, Notion, ClickUp, and Monday), calendar and file storage (for example, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and OneDrive), and meeting tools (for example, Granola and Fathom). The data we access and store depends on the integration you connect and the permissions you grant.

Data We Access From Integrations

When you connect an integration, we may access:

  • Account and workspace information (such as workspace or account name, identifiers, and icons)
  • User identity information (such as user IDs and the email address associated with the connected account)
  • Content you make available through the integration, such as messages, emails, meeting transcripts and summaries, documents, and project or task records, subject to the permissions you grant. For some tools this can include private channels and direct messages.
  • Channel, folder, board, list, or calendar names and identifiers
  • OAuth tokens required to maintain the integration
  • A cached copy of relevant content and connected-account profiles (such as message text, display names, and email addresses) needed to provide the features you use
  • Mappings between the connected service and your Taskory projects
  • Identity-link records that connect your identity in the connected service to your Taskory account

How We Use Data from Integrations

  • To process content using AI-based systems to generate tasks, summaries, or insights
  • To extract relevant task-related metadata (e.g., title, description, priority)
  • To improve functionality and user experience

We do not use integration data for advertising or unrelated purposes. We do not use your content, including content from any connected or integrated tool, to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We route AI processing through providers that operate under a zero-data-retention policy, meaning the content we send is used only to generate your result and is not stored or retained by those providers. We may change the AI models or providers we use over time, but we require any provider we use to meet these no-training and no-retention standards.

Data Storage & Retention (Integrations)

Some integrations store content so we can provide the features you use. For example, when you interact with the Taskory bot in a connected messaging tool (such as by mentioning it, replying in a thread it is part of, or sending it a direct message), we store the recent messages from that conversation, including their text, so the bot can respond with relevant context; depending on the permissions you grant, this can include private channels and direct messages where the bot is present. For meeting tools, we may store meeting transcripts and summaries and access meeting notes to generate tasks and related AI memory. This stored content is retained until you delete it or delete your Taskory account, except that a messaging tool’s message cache is removed when the application is removed from your workspace. Stored content is not used to train AI models.

Tasks and related information generated from your integrations are retained until you delete them or delete your Taskory account. Disconnecting an integration does not delete tasks that were already created from it. OAuth tokens and connection data are retained until the integration is disconnected.

Google API Services — Limited Use

Taskory’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features that are prominent in Taskory, we do not transfer or sell it for advertising or unrelated purposes, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Third-Party Processing

Data from your connected integrations may be processed using third-party service providers such as:

  • AI service providers (for generating insights or tasks).
  • OpenRouter (AI model gateway): we route AI requests through OpenRouter to third-party model providers that are configured for zero data retention and no training on your content. The specific underlying models may change over time.
  • Embeddings: to support search and retrieval features, certain content may be converted into text embeddings using OpenRouter under the same no-training and zero-data-retention terms described above. These embeddings are stored only in Taskory’s own database, and we do not use an external vector database for this purpose.
  • Langfuse: AI observability and monitoring. Receives the prompts and outputs of AI requests so we can debug, monitor, and improve the reliability of the Service. Langfuse is hosted in the United States.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers (for secure storage and processing).
  • Analytics providers (for understanding and improving the user experience): PostHog, which receives product usage events and session recordings. Session recordings are configured to mask and exclude content from integrations, so that content is not captured.

All such processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), Taskory’s basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it. Taskory may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to perform a contract with you
  • You have given us permission to do so
  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and it’s not overridden by your rights
  • To comply with the law

Retention of Data

We retain different categories of data as follows:

  • Account Data: For the duration of your account.
  • Integration data (e.g., Slack, email): connection details and access tokens are retained until you disconnect the integration. Tasks created from an integration are retained until you delete them or delete your account; disconnecting does not delete tasks that were already created.
  • AI-generated content (e.g., tasks): Until deleted by you.
  • Logs: Typically retained for up to 15 business days.
  • Analytics data: usage analytics and session recordings are retained for a limited period, in line with our analytics providers’ settings, and are used only to improve the Service.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Taskory will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Legal Requirements

Taskory may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Taskory AI Pvt. Ltd.
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
  • To protect against legal liability

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you.
